| Reverse description | Hammered gold flan bearing the Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) inscribed in bold Nasta'liq calligraphy across the field in multiple lines, reading 'لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله' (There is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God), with the AH regnal date 1137 appearing in the lower portion of the field. The inscription fills the flan in the typical multi-line format of Safavid-influenced Hotak coinage. |
