Obverse description Hammered gold flan bearing the mint name inscription in stylized Nasta'liq calligraphy across the field. The legend 'ضرب اصفهان' (Struck at Isfahan) is rendered in multiple lines, filling the circular flan. The script is fluid and deeply struck, characteristic of Hotak-period coinage produced at the Isfahan mint.
