Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate head of Vespasian facing left, depicted with characteristic realistic portraiture in the Flavian style, showing the emperor's mature features with a broad forehead and strong jaw. The effigy is rendered as a bare-shouldered or lightly draped bust, occupying the central field. The surrounding legend reads IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG COS VIII P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The die work reflects the competent engraving typical of the Rome Mint during the later Flavian period. The coin exhibits an irregular flan with green patination over the bronze fabric.

(Translation: Imperator Caesar Vespasianus Augustus, Consul Octavum, Pater Patriae. Supreme commander (Imperator) Caesar Vespasian, emperor (Augustus), consul for the eighth time, father of the nation.)
Beschrijving keerzijde The goddess Victoria (Victory) is depicted standing facing left in the centre of the field, rendered as a winged female figure wearing a flowing tunic. She holds a wreath extended in her right hand and a palm branch in her left, the wings spread behind her in a dynamic pose characteristic of Flavian Victory types. The senatorial authorisation monogram S C (Senatus Consultum) appears in the lower field to either side of the figure. The encircling legend VICTORIA AVGVSTI is distributed around the periphery, proclaiming the victory of the emperor. The reverse field shows typical wear and green patination consistent with extended circulation.
