Obverse description Laureate head of Vespasian facing right, with a globe positioned at the point of the neck, a distinctive iconographic detail alluding to imperial dominion over the world. The portrait is rendered in the characteristic Flavian style, with strong, naturalistic features and a wreath of laurel crowning the emperor's head. The encircling legend is incuse in Latin capitals along the coin's border, reading IMP CAES VESPASIANVS AVG COS III. The flan is irregular in shape, as typical of struck bronze issues of this period, with some surface patination visible in the field.
