| Reverse description | The goddess Fortuna Redux depicted standing left in full figure, draped in a long stola, holding a ship's prow (rostrum) in her right hand and a cornucopiae in her left — attributes symbolising safe return and abundance respectively. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the field to either side of the central figure, flanking the goddess. The surrounding legend runs continuously around the periphery within a beaded border. The composition reflects the standard Flavian iconographic programme celebrating Vespasian's return to Rome and restoration of stability. |
