Obverse description Laureate head of Titus facing left, with a small globe placed at the truncation of the neck. The portrait displays the characteristic curly hair and strong facial features of the Flavian dynasty rendered in high relief. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, running from left to right along the periphery of the flan. The overall style is consistent with the official Flavian orichalcum and bronze coinage of the Rome mint under Vespasian.
