| Beschrijving keerzijde | The personification of Pax (Peace) depicted as a draped female figure standing facing left in full length, rendered in classical Greco-Roman style. In her extended right hand she holds an olive branch, symbol of peace, while her left arm cradles a large cornucopiae (horn of plenty), emblematic of abundance and prosperity. The senatorial mark of authority S C (Senatus Consultum) is placed in the field to either side of the central figure. The legend PAX AVGVST is distributed around the periphery, with PAX appearing to the upper left and AVGVST to the right, completing the reverse type characteristic of Flavian bronze coinage. |
