Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Titus facing right, with short curly hair rendered in fine detail, the laurel wreath clearly visible encircling the head. The bust is draped and cuirassed, depicted in the Flavian portrait style characteristic of early Titus coinage. The circumferential legend runs continuously around the coin field within a beaded border. The portrait displays the compact, strongly modelled facial features associated with official Flavian imperial portraiture.
