Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Titus facing right, portrayed as Caesar under Vespasian, with the radiate crown characteristic of as-denomination portraiture. The effigy displays the youthful features of Titus rendered in the Flavian dynastic style. The encircling legend T CAESAR IMP COS III CENS runs around the periphery in relief Latin capitals, identifying him as Caesar, Imperator, third-time consul, and censor. The coin's irregular flan, typical of hand-struck Flavian bronzes, is covered with an olive-green patina.
