Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Titus facing right, rendered in the naturalistic portrait style characteristic of Flavian coinage. The emperor's curly hair is bound by a laurel wreath, a symbol of imperial and military authority. The bare neck truncation is visible at the lower edge of the flan. A continuous Latin legend encircles the portrait in the field, reading clockwise from the lower left.
