| Obverse description | Bare or laureate bust of Emperor Tiberius facing right, depicted with a draped shoulder, rendered in the provincial workshop style characteristic of Caesaraugusta. The encircling Latin legend reads TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS, identifying the emperor as son of the deified Augustus. The portrait is boldly struck in high relief, occupying the central field, with the legend distributed around the full circumference of the flan. The style reflects the Julio-Claudian imperial portraiture tradition adapted for colonial bronze coinage. |
