Obverse description Bare head of Tiberius facing right, rendered in a restrained, classicizing portrait style characteristic of early Julio-Claudian imperial coinage. The effigy displays finely engraved hair swept across the crown and a strong, idealized profile. A circular legend surrounds the portrait, inscribed along the inner border of the coin's field. The surface bears a dark green-brown patina consistent with long burial, with areas of copper-red visible through the encrustation.
