Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Tiberius facing right, rendered in high relief with draped shoulder visible at the bust truncation. The effigy displays the characteristic portraiture of the Julio-Claudian style as adapted by a provincial Hispanic mint. A continuous Latin legend encircles the portrait within the field, reading TI CAESAR AVG F IMP PONT M, identifying the emperor by his titles. The coin exhibits a green patina consistent with prolonged bronze oxidation.
