Obverse description Laureate head of Tiberius facing right, rendered in high relief with fine portraiture typical of early Imperial provincial coinage. The emperor's effigy displays a laurel wreath set firmly upon the brow, with naturalistic hair treatment visible below. The surrounding legend reads TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS, disposed in a circular arrangement around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits the restrained, classicizing style characteristic of Julio-Claudian provincial workshops at Caesaraugusta.
