Obverse description Bare or laureate bust of Emperor Tiberius facing right, depicted with characteristic austere Imperial portraiture. The effigy is rendered in moderate relief, with facial features largely obscured by wear and heavy patination. The encircling Latin legend reads TI CAESAR AVGVSTVS PON MAX IMP, identifying Tiberius by his titles of Pontifex Maximus and Imperator. The coin exhibits a dark brown patina with scattered areas of green corrosion typical of provincial bronze issues struck at Emerita Augusta.
