Obverse description Bare male head facing right, depicted in a bold, somewhat archaic Iberian style, adorned with a diadem tied with infulae (hanging ribbons) at the nape. A hand or finger is rendered in the right field, a distinctive and unusual iconographic element characteristic of this Iberian series. The portraiture displays strong local craftsmanship of the southern Iberian coinage tradition.
