| 背面描述 | An upright olive branch with multiple leafy sprays rendered in bold relief, occupying the full height of the coin's field. The branch rises from the base of the flan and splays symmetrically to either side, with a small floral or pellet motif visible near the crown. The abbreviated reverse legend is inscribed vertically to the right of the branch. The composition is characteristic of the small Neronian quadrans and as coinage, emphasizing a symbol of peace and imperial clemency. |

Struck under Nero between 62 and 68 AD, this small bronze falls within the period following the great Neronian monetary reform of 64 AD, which saw a deliberate reduction in the weight standard of both gold and silver coinage — the first such debasement since Augustus. The reform freed up metal and helped fund Nero's rebuilding of Rome after the fire, though whether this particular piece predates or postdates that reform within the reign window is difficult to establish with certainty.
RIC I 129 is a semis by denomination. The type is scarce in any condition.
