| Reverse description | A bull standing to the right, rendered in sturdy, naturalistic relief characteristic of Iberian Roman provincial coinage. The animal is depicted with clearly modeled musculature and a downward-turned head. The names of the two duoviri magistrates, L. Pompeius Bucco and L. Cornelius Fronto, are inscribed in Latin capitals divided above and below the bull: L POMPE BVCCO in the upper field and L CORNE FRONT in the lower exergual area. A beaded border frames the entire design. |
