| Obverse description | Bare-shouldered, laureate bust of Nero facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristically fleshy features and layered hair curls at the brow and nape. The emperor is depicted with a draped shoulder visible at the bust truncation. The encircling legend reads IMP NERO CAESAR AVG GERMANIC in Latin capitals along the periphery of the flan. The die work reflects the official imperial portrait style of the Neronian period, with strong modeling of the facial features consistent with coins struck at the Rome mint. |

| Reverse description | Winged and draped figure of Victory advancing left, her wings spread behind her, holding with both hands a large oval shield inscribed S P Q R (Senatus Populusque Romanus). The composition is dynamic, with Victory's drapery rendered in motion. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears in the field, divided to either side of the central figure. The reverse design commemorates Neronian military victories and the traditional senatorial authority over bronze coinage. |
