| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristic short beard, occupying the central field. The imperial effigy displays the emperor's distinctive physiognomy with finely detailed hair beneath the laurel wreath. The circumferential Latin legend IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG runs around the periphery, separated from the bust by a beaded inner border.
