| Obverse description | Bare-headed and cuirassed bust of the emperor Hadrian facing right, laureate, viewed from the front, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in a frontal three-quarter perspective characteristic of early Hadrianic coinage. The encircling Latin legend runs along the rim, partially obscured by heavy patination and surface wear. The flan is irregular in shape, consistent with hammered bronze production of the early second century AD. |

| Reverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Hadrian facing right, viewed from the front, the paludamentum draped over the left shoulder. The portrait displays the characteristic Hadrianic beard and closely cropped curly hair, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition adopted by this emperor. The encircling Latin legend is partially legible around the periphery, with surface corrosion obscuring portions of the inscription. The reverse field shows considerable patination consistent with extended burial, typical of bronze aes coinage of the Trajanic-Hadrianic period. |
