| 表面の説明 | Bare-headed and draped bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered in confident high relief with finely detailed hair and a short beard characteristic of Hadrianic portraiture. The emperor's effigy displays a naturalistic, slightly idealized physiognomy consistent with the imperial workshop at Rome. The circular legend HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS runs around the periphery, beginning at the lower left and continuing clockwise. The flan is slightly irregular in shape, as is typical of hammered Roman aes coinage of the period. The surfaces carry an even dark olive-brown patina with areas of green encrustation in the fields. |

| 裏面の説明 | Standing figure of Salus, goddess of health and well-being, depicted facing front with head turned slightly to the right, draped in a long stola and paludamentum. She holds a patera in her right hand from which she feeds a serpent coiled around an altar to her left, while her left arm cradles a rudder or sceptre resting against her shoulder. The legend COS III is inscribed in the upper field, divided to either side of the central figure, with the large senatorial authorisation mark S C prominently displayed in the lower field flanking the figure's lower drapery. The composition is well-centred and the type is a standard Hadrianic reverse associated with his third consulship of AD 119–138. |
