| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing left, rendered with characteristic curly hair and full beard in the Hellenistic tradition. The effigy displays fine sculptural detail in the facial features and drapery folds at the shoulder. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait within the coin's field. The portrait type reflects the classicizing artistic style prevalent during the high imperial period of the second century AD. |

| Reverse description | Salus, goddess of health and welfare, depicted standing to the right, holding a serpent in one arm and extending a patera toward it as if feeding the snake. The composition occasionally shows Salus leaning against a column. The reverse legend COS III appears in the field alongside the senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum), flanking the central figure. The design is executed in the bold, high-relief hammered style characteristic of Roman imperial bronze coinage of the Hadrianic period. |
