| Obverse description | Bare-necked, laureate bust of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in the bold, high-relief style characteristic of Flavian-era restitution coinage. The effigy displays Galba's distinctive aged features with a strong jaw and close-cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath. The circular legend runs around the entire periphery of the flan, with a beaded border enclosing the portrait. The workmanship reflects the retrograde copying of original Neronian-era dies adapted under Titus for his restitution series. |

| Obverse lettering | SER GALBA IMP CAES AVG TR P (Translation: Servius Galba Imperator Caesar Augustus, Tribunicia Potestate. Servio Galba, supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, emperor (Augustus), holder of tribunician power.) |
| Reverse description | Libertas, the personification of Liberty, stands facing left in full figure, draped in a long stola and paludamentum. She extends her right hand forward holding a pileus (the cap of freedom given to freed slaves), and clasps a long vindicta (rod) vertically in her left hand. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the field to either side of the figure at mid-height. A circular legend referencing the restitution by Titus runs around the periphery, enclosed by a beaded border. |
