Obverse description Bare head of Drusus the Younger facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair falling over the temples and nape. The portrait displays a youthful, idealized effigy characteristic of Julio-Claudian court portraiture. The encircling legend in Latin capital letters reads DRVSVS CAESAR TI AVG F DIVI AVG N, distributed around the bust from lower left to upper right. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of hammered bronze coinage of the early Imperial period.
