Obverse description Bare head of Drusus Caesar facing left, rendered in high relief with naturalistic portrait style typical of Julio-Claudian coinage. The effigy displays finely engraved hair swept forward over the brow in short locks. A circular legend surrounds the portrait field, reading DRVSVS CAESAR TI AVG F DIVI AVG N. The portrait occupies the majority of the flan, consistent with the large-module Augustan-reform as denomination.
