Obverse description Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, wearing an aegis on the shoulder, rendered in the official imperial portrait style of the Flavian period. The emperor's effigy is boldly modelled in high relief, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated around the head. The encircling legend runs along the outer rim of the obverse field. The surface exhibits a heavy patina consistent with bronze coinage of the period.
