Obverse description Bare-necked laureate bust of Domitian as Caesar facing right, rendered in the Flavian portrait style with characteristic short-cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath. The effigy is presented as a youthful bust terminating at the shoulder, consistent with his status as Caesar under Vespasian. The encircling Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The coin displays the characteristic irregular flan and somewhat flat strike typical of Flavian-era aes coinage, with significant patination obscuring finer details of the portrait.
