| Obverse description | Laureate head of Domitian facing right, rendered in the vigorous portraiture style characteristic of Flavian coinage. The emperor's effigy displays a prominent wreath of laurel leaves and the characteristic features of Domitian, including a strong jaw and short curled hair at the temples. A draped paludamentum is visible at the base of the bust. The circumferential legend in Latin reads CAES DIVI AVG VESP F DOMITIAN COS VII, distributed around the full periphery of the flan within a beaded border. |
