Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristically strong facial features consistent with Flavian portraiture. The emperor's effigy occupies the central field, with the neck truncation visible at the base. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border of the flan, reading IMP CAES DIVI VESP F DOMITIAN AVG P M. The coin exhibits the slightly irregular, hand-struck flan typical of Roman hammered bronze issues of the Flavian period.
