Obverse description Bare-necked, laureate bust of Domitian facing right, rendered in the vigorous portrait style characteristic of early Flavian coinage. The youthful features display curly hair beneath the laurel wreath, with the neck truncation cleanly defined. The encircling legend is distributed around the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking. The coin exhibits heavy green and brown patination consistent with prolonged burial, with the portrait remaining in moderate relief.
