| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing figure of Minerva, goddess of wisdom and war, depicted in full martial attire facing right, holding a spear in her right hand and a shield at her side, attributes emblematic of her warlike aspect. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently displayed in the field to either side of the deity, as was customary on Flavian-era bronze coinage. The reverse field is heavily worn and corroded, partially obscuring the finer details of Minerva's drapery and helmet. Minerva was the favored deity of Domitian, frequently featured on his bronze issues. The overall composition is typical of the Flavian workshop at the Rome Mint. |
