The composition follows the standard iconographic formula established for the MONETA AVGVSTI reverse type under the Flavian dynasty.

附加信息	Domitian's MONETA AVGVSTI bronzes of 85 AD belong to a broader program of monetary reform he undertook that year, when he raised the silver content of the denarius back to Neronian standards — a deliberate reversal of the debasements under Vespasian and Titus. The sestertius and as issues featuring Moneta issued alongside this reform were almost certainly symbolic reinforcement of that policy. RIC II.1 417 is among the types catalogued in the extensively revised second edition of RIC volume II, split by Carradice and Buttrey to reflect die study advances. The earlier RIC II (Mattingly) grouped these far more loosely.
