Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, with aegis visible at the shoulder, the emperor depicted with characteristic Flavian portraiture. The bust is rendered in high relief with fine engraving of the laurel wreath and facial features. The surrounding circular legend reads IMP CAES DOMITIAN AVG GERM COS XI, distributed around the obverse field. A beaded border frames the entire design. The portrait conveys imperial authority consistent with Domitian's coinage from his eleventh consulship in AD 85.
