| 正面描述 | Laureate head of Domitian facing right, depicted with a strongly modelled profile characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The emperor's bust is draped, with the laurel wreath rendered in clear relief. The encircling legend reads IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM COS XI CENS POT P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits the broad facial features and distinctive Flavian physiognomy associated with official imperial imagery of the late first century AD. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of hammered bronze issues of this period. |

| 背面描述 | The personification of Moneta stands facing left in a dignified pose, rendered in the round with drapery falling in classical folds. She holds a pair of scales (libra) in her right hand and a cornucopia (cornu copiae) in her left, the traditional attributes of the mint deity symbolising fairness in coinage and abundance. The legend MONETA AVGVST is distributed around the field, with the senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) flanking the figure in the lower field to left and right respectively. The reverse type reflects Domitian's emphasis on monetary reform and the legitimacy of his coinage under senatorial decree. The execution is consistent with the official workshop output of the Rome mint during the early 80s AD. |
