| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, draped with aegis visible at the truncation, rendered in bold high relief characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The emperor's features are firmly modelled with a strong jaw and prominent brow, the laurel wreath clearly articulated across the brow. The aegis, with its distinctive scaled texture and pendant straps, falls across the left shoulder and chest. A beaded border frames the entire obverse field. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise from the lower left. |
