In his outstretched right hand he holds a thunderbolt, while his left hand rests upon a long vertical sceptre. The monumental figure is flanked by the large senatorial authority marks S and C (Senatus Consultum) in the left and right fields respectively, with the reverse legend arching around the upper periphery within a dotted border. |
