| Opis awersu | Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, with aegis visible at the truncation, rendered in high relief characteristic of Flavian imperial portraiture. The emperor's strong facial features — prominent brow, aquiline nose, and short beard — are rendered with individualistic realism. The surrounding legend runs clockwise from the lower left, distributed around the full circumference of the flan. A beaded border frames the design. The overall composition is bold and commanding, befitting the self-aggrandizing iconography of Domitian's later coinage. |

She holds a rudder in her right hand, resting its base on the ground — symbolising her role as guide of fate — and a cornucopiae in her left arm, representing abundance. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consulto) is placed in the field to either side of the figure. The legend FORTVNAE AVGVSTI arcs around the left margin of the coin. A beaded border frames the entire reverse field. |
