She extends her right arm outward holding a set of scales, while her left hand rests a long vertical rod or sceptre against her body. The letters S C (Senatus Consultum) are placed symmetrically in the field to either side of the figure, as was standard for Roman imperial aes coinage struck under senatorial authority. The reverse legend arcs around the upper periphery of the flan. |
