| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Domitian facing right, rendered in high relief with curling hair beneath the laurel wreath and paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The portrait displays the youthful features characteristic of Domitian's pre-accession coinage, with a strong jaw and well-defined brow. The encircling legend is interrupted by the bust and runs along the coin's periphery. The flan is slightly irregular, typical of hammered Roman aes coinage of the Flavian period. |

| Reverse description | Aequitas, the personification of equity and fair measure, stands facing left in full figure, wearing a long chiton and palla. She extends her right arm outward holding a set of scales, while her left hand rests a long vertical rod or sceptre against her body. The letters S C (Senatus Consultum) are placed symmetrically in the field to either side of the figure, as was standard for Roman imperial aes coinage struck under senatorial authority. The reverse legend arcs around the upper periphery of the flan. |
