| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in a restrained Augustan classical style with finely articulated facial features. The portrait occupies the central field, with the encircling Latin legend distributed around the periphery. The effigy presents the emperor in the manner typical of early Principate coinage issued under the authority of his provincial legates, emphasising legitimacy through the invocation of tribunician power. The flan is irregularly shaped, as characteristic of hammered provincial bronze issues of this period, with some weakness in strike visible at the margins. |

| Opschrift voorzijde | CAESAR AVG TRIB POTEST (Translation: Caesar Augustus Tribunicia Potestate. Caesar Augustus, holder of tribunician power.) |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | Plain field bearing a two-line inscription in large, bold Latin capitals occupying the centre of the flan, with no figurative design elements. The upper line reads P CARISIVS and the lower line LEG, identifying the issuing authority as Publius Carisius in his capacity as Augustus's legate in Hispania. The lettering is deeply cut and well-preserved relative to the patinated bronze surface, which displays a dark olive-green and brown encrustation consistent with long burial. The absence of any pictorial type is characteristic of the earliest Augustan provincial bronze coinage struck under legate authority. |
