Obverse description Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in a classicizing portrait style with short, lightly striated hair swept forward over the brow. The effigy occupies the central field with the surrounding legend partially visible along the left and upper periphery. The portrait exhibits the idealized, youthful features characteristic of Augustan coinage, with a strong jaw and defined facial structure. The coin surface shows typical die-struck irregularity consistent with hammered bronze production of the early Imperial period.
