| Obverse description | Bearded male head facing right, rendered in low relief in the local Mauretanian style, with a palm branch extending along the periphery of the flan. The portrait, likely representing a local magistrate or deity, displays coarse, somewhat stylized features characteristic of provincial Hispanic-Mauretanian coinage of the Augustan period. The partial legend A POMP MI appears in the field to the right of the portrait. The flan is irregular and shows typical hammered fabric, with patchy green patination consistent with a bronze alloy of this era. |
