| Описание реверса | Neptune stands facing left in a commanding full-length pose, depicted nude or near-nude in classical divine convention. In his extended right hand he holds a small dolphin, and in his left hand he grasps a long trident, its shaft reaching to the ground. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consulto) is prominently placed in the field to either side of the figure, flanking Neptune at mid-body level. The reverse legend encircles the design, identifying the coin as a restoration issue under the emperor Titus. The composition is bold and well-centred, consistent with Flavian-era bronze production. |
