Reverse description Pegasus galloping to the right, rendered with outstretched wings and forelegs raised, in a dynamic pose characteristic of Emporitan bronze coinage of the late Republican period. A small caduceus or similar symbol appears in the upper left field. The legend EMPORIT is inscribed along the lower exergual area in bold Latin capitals, identifying the issuing city of Emporiae (modern Empúries, Catalonia). The relief is bold but shows softening from circulation wear. The style closely follows earlier Greek colonial prototypes while incorporating Roman provincial influence.
