| Obverse description | Central motif of a large bunch of grapes depicted in relief, flanked on either side by a palm frond or leaf, the whole composition set within the flat coin field. The naturalistic rendering of the grape cluster, a symbol of agricultural fertility and regional identity, is characteristic of Hispano-Turdetanian bronze coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-hammered production. No legend or inscription appears on this side. |
