Abra was a Turdetanian mint operating in the middle Guadalquivir valley during Rome's consolidation of Hispania Ulterior following the Celtiberian and Lusitanian wars. The precise location of the city remains unresolved — it has been tentatively placed in the modern province of Córdoba, though no secure archaeological identification has been confirmed. Coins of this series are scarce in collections outside the Iberian Peninsula, and most known examples derive from regional hoards rather than individual finds.
