Reverse description A plough depicted in left profile dominates the upper register, rendered with careful detail showing the beam and share, with a small floral or vegetal ornament above the share. Beneath the plough, a large ear of wheat extends horizontally across the lower field, its spine and lateral grains rendered in a herringbone pattern. Flanking the central designs in the field, a two-line Iberian Meridional inscription is disposed on either side of the plough and wheat ear. The composition reflects the agricultural prosperity of the Obulco region and is a hallmark type of this mint.
