| Beschrijving keerzijde | Iberian horseman (jinete) riding at full gallop to the right, brandishing a lance or spear horizontally in his extended right hand. The rider wears a crested helmet and a short military cloak (paludamentum), rendered with schematic but energetic lines characteristic of Celtiberian bronze coinage. A six-petalled rosette or star symbol appears in the upper left field above the horse. In the exergue below the horse, the mint name is inscribed in Iberian (Levantine) script reading 𐊖𐊤𐊨𐊊𐊠 (Sekia). The overall composition closely follows the standard Iberian as reverse type widespread in the middle Ebro valley during the late 2nd century BC. |
