Obverse description King depicted standing in regal attire, nimbus encircling the head, holding a bow in one hand and an arrow in the other in the classic archer type composition derived from Gupta coinage tradition. The figure is rendered in a frontal or three-quarter stance with stylised drapery. A small peacock device appears in the lower field. A Brahmi legend encircles the royal effigy.
